Summary:

Canadian hunting regulations for migratory game birds are reviewed annually with input from the provinces and territories and a range of other interested stakeholders. Proposals to Amend the Canadian Migratory Birds Regulations (the December report) outlines the proposed changes to the annual hunting regulations for the 2005-2006 season, as well as other proposed amendments to the Migratory Birds Regulations. This report also includes information on the annual schedule for the development of hunting regulations, the black duck harvest strategy, management of overabundant snow geese, the national harvest survey, and amendments to the November 2004 report.--Includes text from document.
