Developing health and wellness plans : a guide for First Nations / Lori D. Keith, in collaboration with First Nation health managers across Canada.
This guide was developed by a national First Nation health organization with the intention of honouring and respecting the experiences and inherent wisdom of First Nations health managers. It is developed based on values -- culture-based, community-based, strength-based, and quality-based. These “Dynamic Values” are “ways of working” that honour each community’s traditions and strengths while inclusively planning for quality health services, providing examples of how these are demonstrated throughout each stage. This Guide follows key stages an organization might go through while developing their plan for wellness
